PUPPY PROGRAMS
Puppies bring endless joy, but without the right guidance, they also bring mess, biting, and household chaos. The first few months of your puppy’s life represent a fleeting, critical development window—the exact time when their confidence, social skills, and baseline routines are permanently formed. The habits you build today shape the dog they become tomorrow.
At The Proud K9, we offer two dedicated paths to help you get puppyhood right from the start. Whether you want step-by-step coaching through our Puppy Foundations Program, or comprehensive, expert-led support with The Puppy Residency, we are here to eliminate the overwhelm.
From seamless housebreaking and crate comfort to intentional socialization and early manners, our programs take the stress off your plate while providing the precise structure your puppy needs to thrive.

Start Right. Stay on Track.
Raising a puppy is an incredible journey, but it can quickly feel overwhelming. Our Puppy Foundations Program is designed to replace the guesswork with clear tools, structure, and expert guidance, helping you raise a confident, well-mannered companion from day one.
Spread across four private, in-home lessons, this program tackles the essentials: housebreaking, crate comfort, safe socialization, cooperative handling, and early impulse control. Each session is entirely customized to your puppy’s age, unique temperament, and your household routine, allowing us to actively prevent common behavioral issues before they can even start.
You will master the art of reading your puppy's cues, setting healthy boundaries, and building positive habits that last a lifetime. Whether you are welcoming your very first dog or simply want a smoother, more structured experience this time around, we are here to help you build a flawless foundation.

Give Your Puppy the Ultimate Head Start.
Let us take the heavy lifting out of those early months. Raising a young puppy is a beautiful experience, but it also demands a level of structure, routine, and perfect timing that can easily overwhelm a busy household. Our Puppy Residency Programs steps in during your pup's most critical development phase (under 16 weeks old) to build their confidence and shape their worldview safely.
This isn't a rigid, high-pressure boarding program. Instead, it’s a nurturing environment tailored to how young puppies actually learn. We swap formal obedience for essential lifestyle skills: mastered potty habits, relaxed crate time, positive socialization, and predictable household routines.
Designed perfectly for busy professionals or stressed-out puppy parents, this program ensures your newest family member gets the best possible start in life, giving you your time back and total peace of mind.
